Wilsgård Fiskeoppdrett AS, the parent company of the group, where farming salmon at different locations in Troms is being the core activity. In addition, they are offering butcher services at their own fish slaughterhouse in Torsken. The annual production is estimated to 7000 tonnes divided by six fishing licenses, while the slaughterhouse has an annual of another 15,000 tonnes. The number of fish owned by external customers yet not added. The family built company, with departments including fish farming, slaughterhouse and administration, currently has 58 employees in total.

Green licenses and sustainable aquaculture
Today, the company has 5 licenses, 4 of these being green. The green stamp has the strictest requirements for the environement and fish welfare, where the goal is to minimize the foot print of our food production. The last license, an educational license in collaboration with Troms Fylkeskommune, has resulted in Blåfondet, a fund raised in order to invest in teaching initatives regarding the blue sector.
